The event is a fundraiser going under the heading of "Send My Missus to Africa", and is to raise money for our singer Tony's wife Wendy, who will be volunteering in Africa later on this year. Wendy will be heading to Tanzania in September/October to do some voluntary work for the Forever Angels charity, who run a home for up to 50 orphaned and abandoned babies on the shores of Lake Victoria. It's a worthy cause, and a great thing that Wendy is doing. We'll be playing from about 6pm, doing two sets, so come down and help us raise the roof as well as a decent sum of money.
